At The Richland Hospital, our patients above all else is the foundation of everything we do. We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Director of Pharmacy to lead our Pharmacy Services team and support exceptional patient-centered care.
Position Summary
The Director of Pharmacy serves as the administrative leader of the Pharmacy Department and is responsible for implementing organizational and departmental mission, vision, and goals. This role provides oversight for all pharmacy operations and fosters a professional practice environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the planning, organization, leadership, and supervision of all pharmacy services within the hospital, including medication procurement, storage, preparation, dispensing, monitoring, and clinical pharmacy services. This position combines both strategic leadership and clinical expertise to ensure safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university
- PharmD preferred
- Current Wisconsin Pharmacist License
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred

- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards
- Project management and organizational skills
- Budgeting and financial management knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
