Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Crew Leader to spearhead on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, providing clear direction and ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate daily work activities with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow and meet project deadlines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide team activities and ensure accuracy in execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets safety standards, building codes, and project requirements; address any issues promptly.
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings; ensure all team members use proper PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Manage site logistics including material deliveries, equipment usage, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven minimum of two years experience in construction.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Supervising experience leading diverse teams on complex projects; excellent management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety enforcement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Technical proficiency with tools. (Able to read a tape measure and use a speed square)
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
