Serve as an “Ambassador of Good Will” to all members, guests, and visitors in the park.

Learn, understand, and follow park rules, regulations, bylaws, and Settlement Agreement provisions; complete required onboarding testing.

Diplomatically enforces park rules for members and guests, issuing clear warnings, violations, or incident reports when appropriate or as directed by the Head Ranger.

Maintain strong knowledge of Port Susan Camping Club (PSCC) streets, roads, facilities, and key locations.

Escort emergency and law enforcement vehicles as needed and assist in managing emergency situations.

Provide onsite member assistance, including first aid and/or CPR, until emergency responders assume care.

Monitor front and back gate traffic and conduct roving patrols to help safeguard members, guests, property, and facilities.

Issue, log, and validate visitor passes through the park’s computer system to ensure only approved guests enter the park.

Record significant events in the ranger log and complete incident reports within 24 hours.

Monitor water system pump houses, booster stations, security cameras, comfort stations, storage lots, compactors, and other assigned areas for safety, security, vandalism, or damage.

Open and secure buildings as appropriate during daily operations.

Respond to member concerns, problem reports, complaints, and wellness check requests as directed by the Head Ranger.

Keep ranger bases and entrance areas clean, neat, and free of debris.

Assist other PSCC departments as requested.

Communicate clearly during shift transitions to ensure continuity of operations.

Valid Washington State Driver's License and record checked prior to offer letter extended.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check prior to offer letter extended.

Must be able to provide references upon request.

Must have current certification in CPR, ERT, and ICS or become certified shortly after hire.

Must have reliable transportation and/or live in Port Susan Camping Club.

Port Susan Camping Club opened in 1977 and is the largest membership camping facility in the Northwest.
