Perform Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting operations, combat fires, and perform fire prevention, safety and emergency medical duties and perform related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS, TRAVEL, ENVIRONMENT AND POTENTIAL HAZARDS

Routine: Office, equipment bays, heavy firefighting and rescue vehicles, exposure to loud equipment and jet noise.
- Emergency:Aircraft crash, fire (structural, airfield and aircraft), EMS
- Schedule: The shift time will be as directed by the Chief of the Department. Firefighters are subject to recall for all major fires or accidents.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION REQUIRED

Personal protective equipment including SCBA and clothing.
- Medical equipment.
- All fire and rescue tools and equipment (fire/rescue vehicles, pumps, nozzles, hoses, ladders, hand tools, hydraulic tools, etc.)
