Job Description
Looking for a motivated individual in the greater St. Peterburg area to be an Assistant Project Manager that works well in a team environment. You will be performing site visits for bidding purposes, estimating project costs, qualifying construction suppliers, and permitting projects for large-scale, orchestrated restoration projects.

Responsibilities will include:
· Review and understand bid manuals and repair details and performing site visits to understand the project details
· Estimate all materials and labor required for projects, assisting the Project Manager
· Assisting the Project Manager with Budget creation and implementation
· Qualifying potential material suppliers and subcontractors
· Create and organize project files, manage information through Construction Project Management software
Skills needed to be Successful:
Read and understand construction plans and specifications
Estimating experience, OnScreen Takeoff preferred
Competent in comprehension and understanding of safety and OSHA rules
Willingness to constantly get better
The drive to get things done by any means necessary
Constantly educate yourself and strive to learn more everyday
Communicate Efficiently — Be able to manage through all personality types, properly draft an email and be able to use excel and Microsoft word
Ability to be proactive and solve problems before they occur
Evaluate what is working and where we need to get better and efficiently communicate with the team to find the solution
Qualifications:
· College Degree Highly Recommended
· 5 years in a Supervisory role in the Construction Industry is required. Restoration projects preferred
· Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
· Successful background investigation
· Computer Literacy required
· Microsoft Office experience required
