Overview
Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscaping Maintenance Crew Lead, where you'll take charge of maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and leading a dedicated crew. This energetic role offers the opportunity to oversee landscape and grounds maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality results while managing daily operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew responsible for lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape installation projects.
- Coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
- Manage irrigation systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain healthy landscapes.
- Identify various plants, trees, and horticultural elements to ensure proper care and maintenance.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including company vehicles, mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools.
- Oversee team management tasks such as scheduling, training new crew members, and monitoring performance to foster a motivated work environment.
- Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety protocols and environmental regulations while delivering outstanding grounds maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance or related outdoor work environments.
- Supervising or team management experience in a landscaping or construction setting.
- Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and irrigation management.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and grounds maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Construction experience with hardscape features such as patios or walkways is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles required.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise crew members and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; attention to detail is essential.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
