About Kandir
Kandir is an agentic account intelligence platform built for enterprise account growth. We tell enterprise sales, account management, and customer success teams what is changing inside their accounts before it costs them revenue. We are an early-stage company, coming out of the Entrepreneur Roundtable Accelerator in May. We have paying customers, active design partnerships, and a growing enterprise pipeline. Kandir was founded by operators who built and scaled two B2B SaaS companies to nine-figure exits.
The Opportunity
This is a founding revenue role from the outset, meaning you’re going to start off by selling. Kandir is looking for a builder who will personally own the entire sales motion from first touch to closed contract. You will be the first dedicated revenue hire in the company, working shoulder to shoulder with the CEO to define how Kandir is sold.
The mandate is simple to state but hard to execute. Figure out the sales motion by doing it yourself. You will prospect your own pipeline, run your own discovery and demos, negotiate your own contracts, and close your own deals. The objective is not to build a team on day one, it is to personally discover the repeatable, winnable playbook that a team can later run. Once that motion is proven and documented, you will hire and lead the sales representatives who report to you and scale what you built.
This role carries the Chief Revenue Officer title and the equity, ownership, and trajectory that come with being the person who builds Kandir’s revenue engine from the ground up.
You will also be at the center of the company's fundraising, meaning direct face time with our investors. Presenting revenue traction, sitting in on pitches and diligence, and helping tell the growth story to the venture funds backing Kandir. You will be in the room for it.
What You Will Do
- Own the full sales cycle personally - Prospecting, outbound, discovery, demos, proposal, negotiation, and close, as an individual contributor and hunter, from day one.
- Build and work your own pipeline - Source opportunities through outbound, warm network, referrals, and professional communities.
- Close new logos and expand existing accounts - Carrying and hitting a personal revenue number.
- Define and document the sales motion - Ideal customer profile, messaging, qualification criteria, sales stages, objection handling, and the repeatable playbook that future reps will run.
- Participate directly in fundraising activities - Present revenue traction to investors, join diligence sessions and help shape the growth narrative.
- Partner directly with the CEO on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy - Feeding real deal insight back into product and messaging.
- Represent Kandir in person with prospects, customers, and partners.
- Once the motion is proven, recruit, hire, onboard, and lead a team of sales representatives - Build the compensation plans, cadences, and pipeline discipline for that team.
Who You Are
- A proven closer. You have personally carried and hit an enterprise B2B SaaS quota as an individual contributor. This is a hunter’s role and you are energized, not deterred, by owning your own number.
- A builder. You are comfortable with ambiguity and a blank page. You would rather define the playbook than inherit one.
- Experienced in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling into sales, customer success, or revenue leadership buyers.
- A future leader. You have the ambition and capability to build and lead a sales team, and the self-awareness to know that the first job is to sell personally before you manage.
- Willing and able to work in New Jersey a minimum of 80% of working time.
- Motivated by ownership. You want meaningful equity and are willing to trade near-term cash compensation for a stake in the outcome.
Compensation
This is an offer structured for upside, not near-term cash. It includes a base salary of $50,000 per year, uncapped commission on closed deals, and a meaningful equity grant commensurate with an executive role. The equity component reflects the ownership stake of building Kandir’s revenue function from zero.
Work Location
This role requires working in New Jersey a minimum of 80% of the time, from the company’s New Jersey coworking location, or from your home in New Jersey, including travel as required.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $101,269.41 per year
