Responsible to solve organizational challenges through people-related solutions and serve as an integral part of a market or business segment's frontline leadership team, to understand every aspect of the business and be a resource and thought leader on human capital and organizational topics, in partnership with assigned Senior HR Business Partner(s) (HRBP). Support HRBP(s) with end-to-end delivery of human capital tactics that will drive the business to meet its goals.

This role requires a combination of hands-on approach and critical reasoning and thinking, use of data to guide work, being comfortable challenging convention and, in some cases, influencing line leaders to reassess how work is done.
Partner with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts within HR centers of excellence and assigned Senior HRBP(s) in executing tactics for how we staff, onboard, develop, motivate, retain and organize work.
As a core part of this hands-on work, this position will execute programs to support associates, including compensation, performance management, organizational design, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, culture, rewards and recognition, and talent management.
Responsible for being a highly effective resource to line management on organizational and people related planning and execution tactics.
Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions, solving problems and getting to the root cause of any issue, regardless of complexity.
Consult with line managers to implement comprehensive people plans to influence lasting and sustainable efficiencies.
Contribute to the design and support the implementation of solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond human capital and organizational solutions.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, including the development and monitoring of the EEO/AA action plan for designated site/location; develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
Ability to influence through strong relationships, expertise and data and can manage multiple stakeholders and multiple competing priorities. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
Strong sense of the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
Superior communication skills and the ability to communicate large, complex change strongly preferred.
May promote and sell HR Consultiung products and services to external clients and vendors.
Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, including HR experience, business partner or generalist experience with data, analysis, trends and reports; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Strongly preferred HR designation (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).

Additional Details:
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm with lunch break (30 mins or an hour)
Hybrid 1 - in office Once per week
Prefer candidates on the East Coast and Richmond, VA, Norfolk, VA, and Atlanta, GA
Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health PulsePoint location.
Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.

Pay Rate Range
26.55 - 48.94 USD hourly
