Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Residential House Manager to lead the daily operations of our long-term care community. This pivotal role involves overseeing resident care, staff management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence to ensure a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for residents and their families. The ideal candidate will bring energetic leadership, extensive experience in senior and assisted living settings, and a passion for enhancing quality of life through personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise caregiving staff, under the direction of nursing personnel, and administrative teams to deliver exceptional resident-centered care.
- Assist the ARN with(POC)- develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including memory care and dementia-specific strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulation policies, long-term care regulations, and safety standards across the facility.
- Oversee medication administration processes, under the direction of the Administrative RN, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by engaging residents in social activities and supporting their emotional well-being.
- Maintain open communication with residents and their families.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or similar senior care environments with a focus on long-term care management.
- Strong background in dementia care, Alzheimer’s support, memory care programs, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience in healthcare or home & community care settings.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies, long-term care regulations, and nursing home administration best practices.
- Competence in healthcare financial management including budgeting and resource planning.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as nursing license or healthcare administration credentials are preferred.
