Job Overview
We're a dentist recruiting company working with a private office that is seeking an experienced dentist. Ideally they are needing a dentist who enjoys treating adults and kids. The patient mix would be approximately 50% adults and 50% kids.
This is a state of the art office, with a CBCT, 5D and iTero. They also have an amazing staff to help support the dentist. The office has a mix of around 50% PPOs, 25% HMOs and 25% Medicaid. Mostly FFS and PPOs for adults and a little more Medicaid for the kids.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, performing a variety of procedures, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all. This role requires a strong commitment to patient health and well-being, as well as adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
An experienced dentist can expect to earn between 200K and 300K per year, as the office has plenty of patients and a lot of new patients each month. They can offer mentoring as well, so new grads are welcome to apply. They are offering a very competive daily guarantee and very competitive % of production & buy in potential in the future.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
- Perform dental extractions, general dentistry procedures, and oral surgeries as needed.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental techniques and technologies.
Skills
- Proficient in dental extractions, general dentistry, and oral surgery techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Experience working in a dental office environment with familiarity in using Dentrix software.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while providing compassionate care.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient records and documentation.
