Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines.
- Use schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Execute wheel alignments, ADAS calibrations, and suspension repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools efficiently and safely.
- Complete vehicle inspections, service estimates, and detailed repair reports for customer transparency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proven dealership or service center experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology calibration and schematics interpretation.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software.
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
