Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing, planning, and coordinating all aspects of project execution, including budgets, safety, schedules, and quality. This role collaborates closely with finance, design, procurement, field operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Project Managers may also support sales, estimating, and purchasing functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope and support general design during the estimating phase
- Lead pre-construction planning, coordinating with design, procurement, and field operations to allocate resources effectively
- Manage daily project activities, including tracking job costs, labor hours, materials, and deliveries
- Monitor project schedules and progress using project management tools
Financial Management
- Track all project costs and change orders in collaboration with the finance team
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, including AR/AP coordination
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Conduct regular meetings with clients and internal teams to provide project updates
- Lead weekly project status calls with customers and internal stakeholders
Administrative Duties
- Approve purchases and project hours
- Review ExakTime daily reports, including photos and work descriptions
- Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation
Compliance & Safety
- Enforce safety policies in accordance with OSHA, MMB, and customer requirements
- Coordinate with local, county, and state agencies to secure permits and ensure compliance
Project Closeout
- Lead project commissioning in collaboration with customers and internal teams
- Ensure all operational requirements are met and formally approved by the customer
QualificationsRequired
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- 10+ years of experience in the agricultural construction industry
- Strong expertise in agricultural equipment and construction practices
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, soil correction, and concrete work
- Familiarity with equipment installation processes and engineering terminology

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
