Whitlock's Irish Pub is seeking energetic Servers and Bartenders who love creating memorable guest experiences with our comfort food, craft cocktails, and Irish pub atmosphere.
Position Overview:
- Servers: Provide exceptional table service, recommend menu items, and ensure guests have a fantastic dining experience.
- Bartenders: Mix creative cocktails, serve drinks efficiently, and engage with bar guests while maintaining a fun, welcoming vibe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests promptly, taking orders and delivering food/drinks with accuracy.
- Upsell menu specials, drinks, and desserts to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle payments, maintain a clean section, and collaborate with kitchen and support staff.
- For Bartenders: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails and beers, while checking IDs and promoting responsible service.
Requirements:
- Prior serving or bartending experience in a restaurant setting (1+ years preferred; training available for enthusiastic candidates).
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic mixology (for Bartenders).
- Availability for evening shifts (nightly dinner) and weekends (lunch and dinner); part-time and full-time roles.
- Must be 18+ (21+ for Bartenders) and able to stand/walk for long periods.
