Duties
- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts, sports, theater, and educational games
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive environment
- Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, camp, babysitting, tutoring, or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of classroom management and childhood development best practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies and behavior management techniques
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Passion for working with youth and fostering a safe, inclusive environment
- Experience in early childhood education or childcare programs is a plus
