American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with 2+ years of OR RN experience and spine and vascular experience for a 13-week assignment.

Work in the Surgical Services department of a hospital setting
-
Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
-
On-call requirement: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM once per week
-
13-week assignment length
-
Active RN license (KY or Compact)
-
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required

OR RN experience required
-
Spine and vascular surgery experience required

Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Perform patient assessments and reassessments, initiating and adjusting plans of care as needed
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education throughout care and at discharge
-
Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
-
Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
-
Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance models
