Hood Hero is a Phoenix-based, family-owned commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning company. We’re not just a cleaning crew — we’re safety pioneers certified under NFPA 96 standards (the only Phil Ackland Certified Firm in the industry). We protect restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and commercial kitchens from fire hazards every night. And we take care of the people who make that happen.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- What this role is: An overnight field technician keeping commercial kitchens fire-safe and code-compliant
- Overnight shift: 8PM–7AM — fewer distractions, more focus, great pay
- Steady hours: 30–45/week with overtime available

WHAT YOU'LL DO EACH NIGHT
- Clean commercial kitchen hoods, grease ducts, exhaust fans, and rooftop systems
- Follow NFPA 96 and Hood Hero safety protocols — no shortcuts
- Inspect fusible links and document your work with before/after photos
- Operate pressure washers, degreasers, vacuums, and hand tools
- Work on rooftops, ladders, and in tight spaces
- Leave every kitchen better than you found it — Mom Clean, every time
- Represent Hood Hero professionally with every client you encounter
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves
- Valid AZ driver’s license — clean record, no DUIs
- Able to work overnight / night shift consistently
- Can lift 50 lbs, work on your feet, handle heights and confined spaces
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-first mindset
Nice-to-Haves
- 1+ year hood / exhaust cleaning experience
- Familiarity with NFPA 96 or commercial kitchen equipment
- Prior pressure washing or industrial cleaning background
