Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards.
- Manage the kitchen station, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and readily available.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Handle food safely, following all health regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing culinary skills in various settings.
- Provide excellent food service by presenting dishes attractively and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or fine dining settings.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food handling practices.
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus.
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation processes.
- Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
