Sales Associate
The Feed Room at Smith Bros. Inc. is actively seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the role of Feed Room Sales Associate. This team member will work independently as well as with Feed Room Manager, Yard Staff, and Office Staff to build and maintain customer relations. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining relationships with existing Feed Room customers and continuing to provide customers with exceptional customer service.
- Participate in monitoring Feed Room inventory and date rotation.
- Maintaining a clean, visually appealing storefront and merchandising product as needed
- Handling monies and processing both pickup and delivery orders.
- Follow processes for taking phone orders, online orders and special-order requests.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Good communication skills both in person and via phone.
- Previous retail, sales, and/ or merchandising experience.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and with a team.
- A general love for animals.
- Previous experience or knowledge in animal nutrition and/ or agriculture is desirable but not required.
- The physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Ability to operate an electric and manual pallet jack.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
