Job Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED enthusiastic and skilled Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role includes both Serving and Bartending Shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly.
- Operate POS system
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food safety standards, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with their selections.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining tables, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 2 years) in a restaurant is required.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is required.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol; certification in responsible beverage service is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6.38 - $8.23 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
