Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Paralegal with experience in personal injury and litigation to support our legal team. The Paralegal will manage case files from intake through resolution, assist attorneys with discovery and trial preparation, coordinate with medical providers and experts, and ensure timely, organized handling of client communications and documentation. Strong organizational skills, legal knowledge of personal injury processes, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Manage case files for personal injury matters from client intake through settlement or trial, maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation.

Draft and prepare pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.

Conduct legal research and investigation relevant to case strategy, liability, and damages using appropriate resources.

Coordinate and obtain medical records, billing, and treatment documentation; review and summarize records to support case development.

Prepare and manage discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, subpoenas, and responses; assist with depositions and witness preparation.

Serve as primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts; maintain regular, professional client communication and case updates.

Assist with trial preparation: compile exhibits, prepare witness lists, organize trial binders, and coordinate logistics for hearings and trials.

Manage calendaring and deadlines for statutes of limitations, court dates, filing deadlines, and internal timelines to ensure compliance.

Use case management software and e-filing systems to track case progress, maintain files, and submit documents to courts as required.

Assist attorneys with settlement negotiations, prepare settlement packages and releases, and calculate disbursements as directed.
Qualifications

Associate degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program; Bachelors degree preferred.

3+ years of paralegal experience with a focus on personal injury and litigation matters.

Proven knowledge of personal injury case processes, including medical records review, liability analysis, and damages assessment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional client management experience.

Experience with e-filing, case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, Filevine or similar), Microsoft Office, and legal research tools.

Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a legal team in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to prepare for and support depositions and trials; familiarity with trial exhibit preparation and courtroom procedures.
