Overview
Staffworks Group is looking for motivated individuals to join our team to work in Entry Level Trades! This exciting role offers hands-on experience across a variety of construction and restoration projects, providing a solid foundation for a future in skilled trades. Whether you're interested in carpentry, masonry, roofing, or general construction, this position is designed to develop your skills while contributing to meaningful projects. Paid training and mentorship are included to help you grow professionally in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning by supporting senior team members
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation using hand tools and power tools
- Support framing, metal stud framing, and concrete forming activities on various job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Conduct tasks related to restoration, including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general building repairs
- Help with siding, stucco application, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry work as needed
- Participate in heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on-site
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction site environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills in diverse construction trades
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are beneficial for job site access
