We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Wood Shop Assistant to join our team.
Position Overview
The Wood Shop Assistant provides hands-on support to our woodworking and production team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing quality work, and is interested in learning a skilled trade.
No previous woodworking experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
- Assist wood shop team members with daily production activities
- Prepare, move, and organize materials needed for projects
- Sand, clean, and prepare wood products for assembly and finishing
- Assist with the production and assembly of custom doors and millwork products
- Package and prepare completed products for delivery or pickup
- Load, unload, and organize materials, supplies, and inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate basic shop tools and equipment after training
- Follow company quality standards and safety procedures
- Support team members with various shop and production tasks as needed

- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move materials up to 100lbs at a time and stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, landscaping, assembly, delivery, or other hands-on work is helpful but not required
