Job Description
Heavy Diesel Fleet Mechanic for Trucks and Trailers. As a Fleet Mechanic/ Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing brake, air and electrical systems on Class 8 tractors and trailers.
Qualifications Fleet Truck Mechanic:
- Perform required repairs on trucks and trailers
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance to DOT standards
- Perform diagnostic tests on equipment
- Troubleshoot air and electrical systems
- Knowledge and repair of S-Cam and disk brakes
- Ability to work with others in a shop environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the shop area
- ASE certification preferred, but not required.
- Have your own tools
- CDL license is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
