Trucking Company (Tacoma)
We are looking for an experienced CDL driver (CLASS A) who is responsible, dependable, safety orientated, capable of towing trailers. This position will primarily be hauling materials in a dump truck/Pup combination. You will also be transferring equipment to include load/unloading of small to large tractors on a tilt deck trailer.

Salary:$28-79.00 DOE/hour. Lots or prevailing wage work
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience
· Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
· No recent moving or driving violations
· Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
· Willing to submit to background/drug checks
Required license or certification:
- CDL Class A
- Driver's License
Responsibilities
· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
· Collect and verify delivery instructions
· Report defects, accidents or violations
· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
· Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
· Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
