About the Role
As a Stock Associate, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional shopping experience by ensuring merchandise is well-presented, assisting customers with product selections, and supporting daily sales floor operations. You'll spend most of your shift interacting with customers, answering questions, recommending products, and helping maintain an organized retail environment.
Please note: This position focuses on customer engagement and retail sales, not warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, or inventory distribution.
What You'll DoCustomer Service & Face-to-Face Sales (Primary Focus)
- Welcome customers with a friendly, professional, and approachable attitude.
- Engage with customers face to face to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Provide accurate information about products, pricing, promotions, and store policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that encourages repeat business.
- Promote featured products, special offers, and complementary merchandise when appropriate.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Sales Floor Merchandising
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor to maintain an attractive shopping environment.
- Organize shelves, displays, and product presentations according to company standards.
- Ensure merchandise is properly labeled, priced, and displayed.
- Monitor product availability and notify management of low inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready sales floor.
Store Support
- Assist customers with locating products and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Support promotional events and seasonal merchandising displays.
- Help maintain store cleanliness and presentation throughout the day.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Share ideas to improve the shopping experience and store performance.
- Support daily retail operations as needed.
