Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and energetic Hotel Breakfast Cook to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will prepare and serve a quality breakfast while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. This position requires early morning availability and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to hotel recipes and standards.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet before service begins.
- Ensure food is fresh, properly stocked, and presented throughout breakfast hours.
- Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
- Wash dishes and maintain an organized kitchen.
- Receive and store food deliveries properly.
- Provide friendly and professional service to hotel guests.
- Assist with inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
Qualifications
- Previous breakfast cook, line cook, or hotel kitchen experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience preparing eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, pastries, and continental breakfast items.
- Food Handler Certification (preferred but not required).
Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
