Full-Time Food Runner — Snap Thai Fish House
Snap Thai Fish House is hiring an experienced, dependable full-time Food Runner to join our front-of-house team.
The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food quickly and accurately, communicating with servers and kitchen staff, and helping ensure every guest receives excellent service. This is a fast-paced position that requires urgency, teamwork, and strong attention to detail.
Estimated earnings: $120–$180 per shift, including hourly wage and tips. Actual earnings may vary depending on hours worked, shift volume, and tip share.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
- Confirm table numbers, seat positions, and special requests
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff
- Help prepare and organize food trays and service stations
- Check that dishes are complete and presented correctly
- Assist with clearing plates, resetting tables, and other front-of-house duties when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Provide friendly and professional guest service
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of restaurant experience
- Food runner, server assistant, busser, or similar experience preferred
- Able to work quickly in a busy restaurant
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Able to stand and walk for long periods
- Able to carry trays and lift approximately 25–40 pounds
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and busy shifts
