We are seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to help expand our online presence, strengthen our brand, engage with prospective clients, and support our firm's continued growth.
Position Overview
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms while also assisting with related marketing and client engagement initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, monitoring online engagement, building a positive brand presence, and contributing to a growing organization.
This is a fully remote position, though candidates located in the Chicago metropolitan area are preferred.
Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Marketing
- Manage the firm's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Develop and implement content calendars.
- Create engaging written, graphic, and video content.
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
- Track and report on key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with attorneys and management to highlight firm successes, case results, consumer education content, and community involvement.
Online Reputation Management
- Develop and execute strategies to increase positive client reviews on Google and other platforms.
- Monitor and respond appropriately to online reviews and social media interactions.
- Help implement systems that encourage satisfied clients to share their experiences.
Website & SEO Support
- Draft website copy, blog articles, FAQs, and other content designed to educate consumers and improve search visibility.
- Assist with content optimization for traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search platforms.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and consultants as needed.
Client Engagement & Business Development Support
- Assist with initiatives designed to improve prospective client engagement.
- Support intake and marketing teams with communication strategies.
- Help develop email campaigns, newsletters, and client outreach materials.
- Perform other marketing, communications, and related business development assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional social media and digital marketing experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Experience creating professional written and visual content.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing professional services or law firms.
- Experience with Google Business Profile management and online review generation.
- Knowledge of AI-driven search, content optimization, and emerging digital marketing trends.
- Video editing and content production experience.
