I-Bar Enterprises has been supporting the construction industry specializing in aggregate hauling and equipment services for more than 20 years now! We are currently looking to hire an experienced Diesel Mechanic to add to our family, due to our rapid growth and a high demand in New Braunfels, Tx, and surrounding areas.
What we do; Haul aggregate materials including but not limited to; Base, Rock, Sand, Clay etc. to and from terminals and work- sites
General info and Primary job details;
- Safely and efficiently perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on trucks by thoroughly inspecting and diagnosing issues.
- Properly enter, fill out, submit, maintain and file vehicle records
- Handle service – road calls
- Competitive hourly pay, paid weekly by direct deposit
- Well maintained trucks with on-site mechanics, shop
- Company pays 80% of medical insurance and $15,000 group life insurance. Dental, vision, additional life, short term disability, long term disability, accident, hospitalization and critical illness policies offered as well

Experience and Requirements;
- 2+ years hands-on experience
- Provide your own tools
- Mechanical knowledge and diesel repair with strong diagnostic skills
- Extensive ability to read, understand, and apply information from manuals and computers
- High degree of independence, time management and reliability
- Excellent driving and personal safety record
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Able to communicate effectively in writing, face-to-face and via phone and radio
- Able to work 10+ hour shifts and Saturdays as required
- Able to physically perform the job with long periods of; sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, climbing, lifting etc.
