Position Overview:
As a Painter/Drywall Finisher you will assist with various tasks on painting and drywall job sites. Your responsibilities will include preparing work areas, putting up drywall, prepping walls for paint, painting, and ensuring that jobs are completed safely and efficiently. Reliable transportation is required as you will be traveling to different job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up equipment, covering floors and furniture, and ensuring that all materials are ready for use.
- Painting/Drywall Work: Drywall hanging, prepping, finishing, and painting and finishing.
- Cleanup and Maintenance: Clean work areas, dispose of debris, and maintain a tidy and organized job site.
- Material Handling: Assist in transporting and managing materials and tools, ensuring everything is accounted for and properly stored.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any hazards or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Experience: We require a few years of experience in painting or drywall, we may require a skill test.
- Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to travel to various job sites, able to commute in all weather.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
