Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within various specialties, including internal medicine, geriatrics, and urgent care.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Ensure accurate coding of patient information for billing purposes.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document patient interactions and maintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and terminology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Familiarity with coding practices related to medical billing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
