American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology unit position in Massachusetts, requiring chemotherapy certification and offering a day shift schedule on a 13-week contract.

Work in a 12-bed Oncology unit with an average daily census of 32 patients
-
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses spanning hematology, oncology, and non-oncology conditions such as asthma/allergy, GI, rheumatology, and MS
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6

Specialized procedures include port accessing and IV placement

Medication management via Omnicell
-
Documentation via Cerner and IntelliDose
-
Day shift schedule: 4x9.5-hour shifts, 8:00–17:30

Active Massachusetts RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Orientation consists of 3–4 shifts with a preceptor

Scrubs are not provided; any color scrubs are acceptable
