Lead Barista (Future Store Manager Opportunity)
Location: Pure-trition Juice & Smoothie Bar – Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $16.50–$17.00 per hour + tips (based on experience)

What You'll Do
As a Lead Barista, you'll help create an exceptional customer experience while leading by example and supporting your team.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing smoothies, juices, bowls, wraps, wellness shots, and other menu items with consistency and care
- Delivering outstanding customer service with every interaction
- Opening and closing the store
- Assisting with inventory and daily operations
- Helping train, coach, and encourage team members
- Leading by example through professionalism, teamwork, and accountability
- Supporting both our retail store and food truck events as needed
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant, café, coffee shop, smoothie bar, or hospitality environment
- Proven history of providing outstanding customer service
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred
- At least 1 year of leadership experience as a Lead Barista, Shift Lead, Team Lead, Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or similar role
- Experience training or coaching team members
- Experience with opening/closing procedures, inventory, or shift leadership
Leadership experience is strongly preferred. We're looking for someone who has demonstrated the ability to lead others and is ready to take the next step toward managing a business.
Availability
Open availability is required.
Candidates must be available to work:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Occasional evenings, special events, and Pure-trition food truck events as business needs require
