Compass Pointe Golf Club is seeking a personable, dependable, and service-oriented Part-Time Server/Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position provides exceptional service to our members and guests across the Club’s dining and bar areas, including the clubhouse, Cabana Bar, and Sports Bar.
The ideal candidate has previous serving experience, enjoys working in a hospitality-focused environment, and is comfortable assisting with both food and beverage service.
Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Pay: Starting at $7.25 per hour + tips
- Location: Leland, NC 28451
- Schedule: Flexible availability required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food, cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages in accordance with Club standards.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when assigned to bartending duties.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
- Accurately process guest checks and payments.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and bar areas.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and Food & Beverage team members to provide an exceptional member experience.
- Assist with other Food & Beverage duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience required.
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Must be dependable and able to maintain a flexible schedule.
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must meet all applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
