California Dermatology Institute is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing Clinical Research Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside board-certified dermatologists and principal investigators conducting cutting-edge dermatology clinical trials while continuing to provide excellent patient care.
Whether you have prior research experience or are looking to transition into clinical research, we are willing to train the right candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about advancing medical treatments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients enrolled in dermatology clinical trials
- Conduct study visits according to research protocols
- Perform physical examinations and document findings
- Assess adverse events and report protocol deviations
- Work closely with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, sponsors, and monitors
- Maintain accurate source documentation and electronic medical records
- Educate patients regarding study participation and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GCP, and study protocol requirements
- Assist with participant recruitment and screening
- Perform routine dermatologic procedures within scope of practice
Qualifications
- Current California Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent bedside manner
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in clinical research and evidence-based medicine

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $75.00 - $110.00 per hour
