The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Project Manager and field teams in the successful planning and execution of NCS projects. This role assists with project coordination, material management, scheduling, site readiness, project closeout, and field execution.
The APM is a hybrid position that combines project management responsibilities with hands-on field work. The role provides an opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to manage multiple projects in the future.
As the project’s “eyes in the field,” the Assistant Project Manager monitors project progress, identifies potential issues, and communicates updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
