Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This role involves working with both pediatric (infant through 21 years) and adult populations, with a strong emphasis on feeding, swallowing, and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with feeding and swallowing disorders
- Assess and address speech and language delays and disorders
- Provide intervention for articulation and phonological disorders
- Support patients with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and sign language
- Address oral motor dysfunction and related challenges
- Work with individuals with a range of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, selective mutism, and developmental delays
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care
- Educate and support families and caregivers throughout the treatment process
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress
