MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Support - Demonstrates solid customer service acumen by providing assistance to users as needed including, but not limited to, windows application issues and questions, computer performance and connectivity, smart phone technology, scanners and printers, security and authentication, active directory profile maintenance and master data maintenance.
Monitor servers, network components and storage performance, utilization and availability. Inform and escalate issues as necessary.
Provide information to the organization during major system interruptions.
Provide clear and helpful descriptions of events in trouble ticket system when handling and recording issues.
Develops and maintains strong interpersonal communication with employees and contractors.
Manages multiple priorities and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Participates in rotation of after-hours Service Desk support.
Administration - Assists in maintaining records and provisioning for hardware and software, as instructed.
Monitors servers, network and SAN environments and records issues identified, as needed.
Helps mentor other team members on new technology skills.
Monitors business system services as needed, reviewing and actioning issues as directed to keep computer systems communicating.
Flexibility for shift coverage as needed.
Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
College degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
1-Year experience working with and supporting Windows 10/11 in a multi-site environment an Wi-Fi support is required.
In-depth knowledge of MS Office / O365 required.
SAP experience desired, S/4 preferred.
Experience supporting Windows Server and hands on knowledge of supporting DNS and DHCP, preferred
Knowledge of ITIL methodology preferred.
Certifications for ITIL, MTA, MCSA, and/or CompTIA preferred.
Proven troubleshooting skills working with VPN.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: No Direct or Indirect reports

- Manual dexterity and foot/hand/eye coordination is necessary to control industrial material handling equipment and vehicles.
- Subject to fluctuating temperatures within in the work facility, as impacted by the weather.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

May enter operational areas which are non-air-conditioned and where workers can expect to be occasionally exposed to heat and humidity, fluctuating temperature conditions due to weather, chemical products, dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise. This position may be required to occasionally work near powered industrial trucks and equipment. This position will be required to occasionally work near and with moving mechanical parts.
