Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
We are seeking an entry-level Production Engineer with electronics manufacturing experience to support and improve production processes. This role focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing defects, and ensuring production meets quality, safety, and delivery goals. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Analyze production processes and line layouts to identify bottlenecks and improve throughput

Perform root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA) for defects and downtime issues

Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions

Implement and monitor process controls and SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Support new product introductions (NPI) and product transfers into production

Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling, fixtures, and test equipment

Assist with automation improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives

Track and report key metrics such as OEE, yield, scrap, and downtime

Provide hands-on technical support to production teams during escalations

Train technicians and operators on engineering best practices

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Required: Experience in electronics manufacturing environment (internship or hands-on acceptable for entry-level)

Knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving methodologies

Experience with data analysis tools (Excel required; Minitab/SPC tools a plus)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach

Comfortable working on the production floor

Must live in the DFW area. Relocation is NOT authorized.

Manufacturing environment with moderate noise and machinery exposure

Requires standing, bending, and movement for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed
