Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Laborer - Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of installation and construction tasks across multiple projects. Your hands-on skills and proactive attitude will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial installations. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, roofing, and other building components using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely to support site activities
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, measuring, marking, and setting up materials for installation or renovation projects
- Perform demolition, restoration, or remodeling tasks as directed by supervisors
- Conduct inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and project specifications
- Support carpentry tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and concrete finishing
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and installation work
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes
- Electrical experience including wiring, fixture installation, or electrical work is a plus
- Skilled in drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and painting techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Familiarity with flooring installation, masonry, welding, tile laying, and concrete forming techniques
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations in construction environments
- Experience with fabrication processes for custom fixtures or structural components
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a focus on quality standards
