Position Summary
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers while performing general cleaning, stocking, customer service, and store support duties.
This position requires the ability to work independently, follow company procedures, and maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude throughout the shift.
Schedule
Evening shifts available.
Typical shift hours may fall between:
3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and operational requirements.
Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
Essential Job Duties
- Clean and maintain washers, dryers, folding tables, restrooms, floors, and customer areas
- Sweep, mop, dust, wipe surfaces, and remove trash throughout the shift
- Restock supplies, including soap, paper products, and vending items
- Monitor the store for cleanliness, safety concerns, and customer needs
- Assist customers with basic questions and store procedures
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or customer incidents to management
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Ability to perform cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the shift
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a laundromat environment with exposure to cleaning products, noise, and varying temperatures
Transportation & Multi-Location Requirement
Reliable transportation is required.
DZ Laundry operates multiple locations throughout the Riverside area. Employees may be assigned, transferred, or scheduled to work at different company locations based on staffing and business needs.
Applicants should be willing and able to travel to nearby company locations when necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
- $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
