Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with 53' dry van.
- Unload cargo using an electric pallet jack, ensuring secure and damage-free deliveries.
- Drive route-specific deliveries, maintaining schedule integrity while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security..
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold all safety protocols during daily operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license; familiarity with manual transmission preferred.
- Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload operations and securing cargo properly.
- Ability to navigate route driving efficiently while managing time effectively.
- Skilled in operating auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading freight.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance with transportation regulations, and vehicle maintenance awareness.
