We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for wiring, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting fuel equipment, control panels, pumps, and related electrical systems in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial electrical systems, can interpret electrical schematics, and takes pride in producing high-quality work while following all applicable safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical components for fuel equipment and fluid handling systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Install conduit, wiring, switches, relays, sensors, motors, and control devices.
- Build and wire control panels to company and customer specifications.
- Test, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems prior to shipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on completed equipment.
- Verify equipment meets quality standards and applicable electrical codes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work and testing.
- Work closely with engineering, fabrication, and production teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed electrician or equivalent industrial electrical experience preferred.
- 3+ years of electrical assembly, industrial maintenance, panel building, or manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and motor controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and insulation testers.
- Familiarity with NEC standards and safe electrical work practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience
- Control panel fabrication and wiring.
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLCs, and automation systems.
- Fuel transfer equipment, DEF systems, pumps, or petroleum equipment.
- UL 508A panel wiring or industrial control systems.
