Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Specialist to own OktoRocket's brand presence — from the conferences and events we show up at, to the content we post, to the campaigns that keep our customers engaged. This role combines creative execution with organizational ownership. You'll run our social channels, manage our conference and event logistics, and build out marketing programs, working closely with the CEO and product team to tell the OktoRocket story.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Events & Conferences:
- Manage scheduling and logistics for industry conferences and trade shows, including registration, booth logistics, materials, and on-site details.
- Assist with event coordination to ensure OktoRocket shows up prepared and on-brand.
Social Media & Content:
- Manage day-to-day communication and engagement across our social channels.
- Create or source social media content and coordinate a consistent posting schedule.
- Manage and optimize our Meta Business Suite and Google Business profiles.
Community & Customer Engagement:
- Manage our user group, keeping customers engaged, informed, and connected to the OktoRocket community.
Campaigns & Product Marketing:
- Develop and execute outbound outreach campaign programs to support pipeline growth.
- Partner with the product team to build and launch campaigns around new features and releases.
Continuous Improvement:
- Track engagement and campaign performance, sharing insights to sharpen future marketing efforts.
- Stay current on industry trends and platform best practices to keep OktoRocket's marketing effective and fresh.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of experience in marketing or social media management; SaaS or B2B experience is a plus. Experience working with a start-up.
- Experience managing social media channels and scheduling tools.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and Google Business Profile management.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple events, channels, and campaigns simultaneously.
- Comfortable owning tasks or projects end-to-end with limited oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the OktoRocket brand clearly and consistently.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Bonus: experience in automotive, auto repair, or field-service SaaS industries.
- Bonus: experience running outbound email/SMS campaign programs or working with CRM/marketing automation platforms.
