The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for a driven, computer-literate individual looking to start a career in operations. You will work mostly and directly with our Warehouse Manager to keep our shipping running smoothly, while collaborating with our Distribution and Logistics Manager and cross-functional teams as needed.Integrity, efficiency, teamwork, quality, reliability, critical thinking, and a good attitude are essential traits for success in this role. You will help lead all Warehouse Associates and should be capable of performing daily floor tasks by example.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound Management: Process containers, manage storage locations, and handle customer returns.
- Outbound Management: Oversee daily e-commerce picking/packing and prepare wholesale orders.
- Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts and manage inventory replenishment across the floor.
- Team Leadership: Support, guide, and motivate the daily floor team to hit shipping deadlines.
- Operations: Monitor shipping supplies, assist with physical inventory, resolve daily floor bottlenecks, and manage general housekeeping/maintenance of all warehouse areas.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Excel proficient (moderate to advanced proficiency is important for managing inventory)
- Google Sheets proficient
- Computer proficient (strong Microsoft Office skills are a plus)
- Forklift (training provided)
- Strong organizational skills, a good attitude, and a solid work ethic
- Previous warehousing experience preferred but not essential
- High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Demands:
- Continuous standing and walking for up to 8–10 hours daily.
- Ability to reach overhead, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Consistency is key, though shift times may adapt with future company growth).
