Duties
- Skillfully prepare and craft eye-catching garnishes for cocktails, ensuring each presentation is flawless and visually appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of garnishing tools and workstations in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with bartenders and servers to ensure timely garnishing that complements drink orders and enhances guest satisfaction.
- Assist in stocking and replenishing garnishes, fresh herbs, fruits, and other decorative elements throughout service hours.
- Follow food safety protocols while handling fresh ingredients and ensure proper storage practices are maintained.
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple garnishing requests without compromising quality.
- Contribute to a lively atmosphere by bringing enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the bar area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food handling, bartending, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques.
- Experience working in fine dining, nightclubs, or high-volume food service environments is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail.
