Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychiatrist Medical Director to lead our mental health start up clinic with passion and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and drive innovative patient care initiatives. Your leadership will shape the delivery of high-quality psychiatric care, foster a collaborative Nurse Practitioner team environment, and promote continuous improvement across our programs. Duties
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for psychiatric services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and healthcare regulations.
- Supervise and mentor Nurse Practitioners, nurses, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical protocols in accordance with FDA regulations, NCQA standards, and HIPAA compliance.
- Manage utilization review processes, ensuring appropriate patient care while optimizing resource allocation within managed care frameworks.
- Collaborate patient care plans
- Psychiatric treatment modalities and contribute to evidence-based practices.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare management best practices
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Psychiatry.
- Proven experience in hospital settings or outpatient psychiatric clinics with supervising or leadership responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical development related to mental health conditions.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, managed care processes, utilization management, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and FDA standards.
- Communication skills are essential.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
