Per Diem CNA Weekend Shift
Location: Poway, CA
Schedule: Per Diem | Weekends
Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour
We're hiring a Per Diem Weekend CNA to provide exceptional resident care as part of our weekend nursing team. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility while making a meaningful contribution to resident care and the overall success of the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the licensed nurse
- Answer call lights and respond to resident needs in a timely manner
- Document care accurately and according to facility policies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Work closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable weekend availability
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-focused care in a fast-paced environment
