GMS is actively seeking a part-time, high energy, and dedicated Front Desk for our Riverside, Westport, Ridgefield, Newtown, Scarsdale, and Closter locations. The Front Desk is a patient-facing role and serves as the voice and face of the practice. They will not only greet patients in the front of the house, but they will be cross-functional to help in the treatment rooms and assist the clinical providers.
- Prepares treatment rooms and equipment at the beginning of the day and closes rooms down at the end of the day.
- Responsible for meeting, greeting, and educating patients on skin care products and treatments.
- Scheduling appointments and checking out patients.
- Maintaining all areas of the Medspa - public areas and treatment rooms.
- Strong understanding of all services and products offered.
- Able to answer inquiries from patients.
- Ability to lead in the sale of product or service.
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit, obtains consents for treatments.
- Prepares patients for treatments by reporting patient history summary, drawing blood (if applicable), preparing the room setup/procedure setup, cleansing, and preparing the treatment area, and any additional preparation needed for treatments.
- Obtains pre and post photography.
- Assists in confirming completion of consent and pre/post forms.
- Counsels patients by reviewing pre and post treatment care instructions.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Maintains all treatment rooms by ensuring linens are clean, trash is emptied, and rooms are always impeccably clean.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Prior experience with Zenoti is a plus!
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
