Position Summary:
Join our production team as a Mixing Technician. You’ll be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing raw materials and formulas to produce high-quality dietary supplement products in a GMP-compliant facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients to batch recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and monitor mixing equipment (e.g., mixers, blenders, pumps) safely and efficiently.
- Read and follow batch records, labels, and production paperwork accurately.
- Perform in-process checks (weights, volumes, temperatures, timings) and record data.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area; perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies.
- Report deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory checks and receiving of raw materials as needed.
- Support quality control checks and cooperate with audits/inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English - Spanish)
- Strong basic math skills (able to perform weights, volumes, percentages, unit conversions).
- Attention to detail, and reliability.
- Preferably 1+ years experience in mixing/production, food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturing, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a production environment (temperature/noise variations).
- Comfortable following SOPs and recording accurate data.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with GMP and batch record practices.
- Experience operating industrial mixers/blenders and basic mechanical aptitude.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
